Job Title: Dissemination Officer
Salary: 4,500 euros total
Position Type: Full-time, 15.06 – 31.07 & 01.10 – 31.10
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 16:00 (30 minutes lunch break is included)

Join the WIP Arts & Technology Festival 2024 team and make an important contribution to a festival that is becoming an annual reference point for scientists and creatives experimenting at the intersection of Arts, Science and Technology.
WIP24 will be hosting experiences and presenting media artworks, performances, research projects, talks, workshops, screenings, and interactive games from invited local and visiting artists, universities, organizations, and CYENS.
WIP (Work in Progress) Festival is an ever-evolving series of activities and exhibitions focused on arts & technology synergies. Organized by CYENS CoE, the festival is breaking new ground in the East Mediterranean and is set to return for its 4th consecutive year after last year's success, which attracted over 7,000 visitors.
Overview:
WIP Arts & Technology Festival is seeking a dedicated Dissemination Officer to join our team for the 2024 edition of the festival. This role involves promoting the festival, securing sponsorships, coordinating collaborations, and supporting the curatorial team in delivering a successful exhibition.
Responsibilities
- Seek sponsorships to support the festival's initiatives.
- Promote the festival's open call in universities in Cyprus and abroad through physical and online presentations.
- Establish communication with embassies to expand the festival's reach.
- Foster collaborations with various organizations to enhance the festival's impact.
- Maintain relationships with existing partners from previous years.
- Assist the curatorial team to streamline operations
- Assist the curatorial team on Guided Tours and Parallel events (talks, workshops, performances)
- Provide additional support as needed to ensure the smooth running of the festival.
- Coordinate artist hospitality to ensure a welcoming and conducive environment for participants.
- Support the coordination and delivery of projects featured in the festival.
- Collaborate closely with the curatorial team to execute the exhibition successfully.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Arts or any other related field.
- Experience in Public Relations (PR), Stakeholder Management, Project Management or related roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the arts and technology sector is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Greek and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
