Position: Permanent Marine Travel Consultant

Full time, to begin from the 1st of June 2024.

About Us:

We are a leading shipping company dedicated to providing efficient and reliable maritime transportation solutions worldwide. Our Marine Travel Department plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless travel arrangements for our crew members, facilitating their safe and timely movement to and from vessels across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate travel logistics for crew members, travelling to and from the vessels, including flights and accommodations.
• Issuing tickets via SABRE GDS.
• Identifying the most cost-effective routes available, according to clients’ needs and vessels schedule.
• Ensure compliance with company travel policies and procedures.
• Eventually become part of the rotation for the After-hours Duty Phone, where you will be required to work outside of standard office hours and public holidays, as operational needs dictate.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in marine or corporate travel coordination.
• Strong knowledge of SABRE GDS, or any other GDS, a must.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
