CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a Global Investment Firm with a diverse range of business interests including Real Estate, Venture Capital & Technology, we are seeking a Senior Payments Administrator to join their expanding team on a fully remote basis here in Cyprus. As a Senior Payments Administrator, you will primarily be responsible for managing all the financial administration for payments and suppliers, including ensuring all suppliers’ information is accurate and up to date including bank details, as well as carrying out regular bank and supplier reconciliations. Our client is seeking applicants who possess proven experience in a similar role, including experience posting high-volume global payments on multi-jurisdiction bank platforms. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written English, and be confident with MS Office, including advanced skills with Excel. Our client offers an attractive remuneration package based on skills and experience, as well as fully remote working conditions within Cyprus.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Manage all the financial administration for payments and suppliers, being fully aware of the differences between transaction types i.e. SWIFT/SEPA/CHAPS/Faster Payment/Fedwire etc...
  • Responsible for ensuring all suppliers’ information is accurate and up to date including bank details.
  • Carry out bank and supplier reconciliations.
  • Liaising directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Responsible for accurately recording all payments in the internal payments platform and producing statistical management information.
  • Responsible for ad hoc finance & banking administration tasks as and when required.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • An academic background relating to Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar is desirable.
  • Significant proven experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in posting high-volume global payments on multi-jurisdiction bank platforms.
  • A self-starter with the ability to navigate banking platforms and banking mobile apps in both multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction scenarios.
  • Strong technology skills with advanced MS Excel and proficiency in other MS Office software.
  • Confident in liaising directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly with reference to high volume payments.
  • Experience and knowledge of working with foreign exchange.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the wider team.
  • A highly organised and methodical approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
