BIM Coordinator
CSP JV (Cyprus Services Provider) an established Joint Venture company working within the British Sovereign Base areas, has a requirement for a BIM Coordinator.
An excellent opportunity for an experienced BIM professional to lead, manage, and maintain the BIM process within the organization. The successful candidate will coordinate/ oversee BIM procedures, work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and ensure workflows adhere to industry standards.
Main responsibilities include:
• Develop and implement BIM standards, workflows and processes across the organization tailored to the needs of projects.
• Coordinate BIM processes throughout project lifecycles, ensuring the accuracy and currency of models and documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to incorporate design changes and updates into BIM models.
• Manage and provide guidance to BIM modellers, and other relevant staff, ensuring technical support is readily available.
• Ensure timely completion of BIM-based projects within budget and meeting quality expectations.
• Evaluate project-specific BIM goals and objectives, ensuring they align with overall company objectives.
• Facilitate the development and enforcement of BIM workflows and standards, with a focus on template and library management.
• Conduct clash detection, model coordination, and resolution processes to mitigate design conflicts.
• Provide technical support and training to project team members on BIM-related processes, software, and tools.
• Liaise with external partners, subcontractors and vendors to ensure a seamless exchange of BIM data.
• Monitor technology advancements to identify opportunities for enhancing BIM workflows and standards.
• Assess the efficiency of current BIM processes, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
Profile of the ideal candidate:
• University degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
• Proven experience in managing BIM models within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry.
• Very good leadership and people management skills.
• Very good analytical skills coupled with a keen attention to detail.
• Very good communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Tech savvy (BIM software, primarily Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD).
• Very good knowledge of English and Greek. Benefits An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience.
