If you’ve been searching for an opportunity that will put you on the fast track to career success, you’ve just found it. Finspec Services Ltd has an exciting, full-time career opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer on-site role in Limassol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. Their role will be to complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.

Main Role:

  • Communication with vendors in reference to purchase orders and invoices to ensure accurate payment to all vendors.
  • Communication with external suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Obtain and update vendor payment information in the company system.
  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
  • Ensure that invoice data are collected and processed in a confidential and timely manner.
  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Maintaining historical records
  • Paying vendors by scheduling and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit
  • Responding to vendor enquiries regarding finance
  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
  • Continuing to improve the payment process

Candidate Profile:

  • Fluency in English;
  • Previous experience in online banking systems will be considered as an advantage;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, mainly Excel;
  • Familiarity with basic accounting and accounts payable principles;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • BSc/BA/Diploma in Accounting or relevant field will be considered as an advantage but not a must;
