We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Amyth of Nicosia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Mediterranean cuisine and a creative approach to menu development.

About Amyth of Nicosia: Amyth of Nicosia, part of the expansion strategy of Thanos Hotels, is a beautifully restored villa with ten bedrooms and suites, located in the historic Old City of Nicosia, just meters away from the Archbishopric of Cyprus and its Museum of Byzantine Art, and opposite the Mansion of Kornesios Hadjigeorgakis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Develop and design menus that reflect the Mediterranean culinary tradition, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
• Train, supervise, and inspire kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and minimizing waste.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Monitor and control kitchen expenses to meet budgetary goals.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Chef/ Head Chef or in a similar leadership role
• Expertise in Mediterranean cuisine, with a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary cooking techniques.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
