CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and international designer, supplier and installer of outdoor illumination and decoration on a large scale, we are seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their newly established operations here in Cyprus. As the Business Development Manager, you will primarily be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for the Company across Cyprus. Your target market will include amongst others Government Authorities, Public Institutions, Real Estate Developers, Municipal Authorities, as well as private clients. Our client is seeking applicants who possess a strong and proven track record in a sales and business development environment, with the ability to develop and nurture long-lasting, profitable business relationships with new partners. You will need to be fluent in both Greek and English, and hold a current driver’s licence for business travel throughout Cyprus. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Build and nurture new business relationships with a range of clients across Cyprus, which include Government Authorities, Public Institutions, Real Estate Developers, and Municipal Authorities.
• Visit potential customers to promote the company’s proposals/visualizations/solutions.
• Prepare financial proposal to clients.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance.
• Visit sites before and during installations.
• Contribute to achieving the company’s financial targets.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• An academic background in field of Electrical or Electronic Engineering or another relevant field will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
• Proven Business Development experience in Cyprus is a must.
• A proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building successful client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Previous experience in the lighting sector will be considered an advantage.
• Any experience working with AutoCAD will be considered a plus.
• Fluency in Greek and English is a must.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Holders of a current, clean driver’s licence.
