PERHA Group (Register Number 388239), on behalf of our client a well-established Consulting / Migration Services Company, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures;
• Update accounts receivable and perform reconciliations;
• Examine statements, forms and compliance with standards;
• Assist with processing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned;
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements etc.;
• Update databases to ensure that information will be accurate and available;
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded;
• Assist in preparing financial and non-financial data as well as audit documents;
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of vat and monthly/yearly closing reports;
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports;
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any related field will be considered as an advantage;
• Previous experience in a similar position for 1-2 years will be considered as an advantage;
• Attention to detail;
• Excellent Communication & Organizational skills;
• Positive personality with a professional attitude;
• Results orientation and ability to work as a team player;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English;
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
