CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ largest and most highly regarded Telecommunications providers, we are seeking to recruit a Field Technicians to be based in both Nicosia and Limassol. The successful applicants will join a growing Field Customer Delivery Team, tasked with carrying out all rollout works concerning the installation of the cabling and infrastructure for the provision of residential fiber network installations. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally Technical School Graduates in the fields of Electronics or Electrical Installations, and any previous experience in a relevant position is desirable, although Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply, and full training will be provided. Our clients offers a highly attractive remuneration and benefits package.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Pulling the fiber cables from the road manholes to the buildings (compounds and houses) distribution box and terminating the fiber into the splice enclosures and buildings distribution boxes.
• Pulling and dropping the fiber from the public poles to the buildings distribution boxes by using an aerial platform or by climbing to the poles.
• Pulling the fiber through the compounds infrastructure and terminate the fiber on each floor.
• Pulling the fiber from the floor distribution box to the customers premises, install the modem and confirm the service is live.
• Delivering to DSL customers, confirming the service and troubleshooting fiber and DSL problems.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Technical school graduate will be considered an advantage.
• Good Physical Condition /Able to transfer heavy loads (30kg).
• Working at Height is required (aerial platforms, rigging etc) – (No certificate required at this point).
• Manual Transmission Driving Licence.
• Good computer skills (MS office, Windows). 
• Fluent in English.
