CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading CySEC Regulated, Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Head of Sales (Russian-Speaking) to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, who possess approximately 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Client Relationship Management within the financial services industry, preferably in fund management or AIFM. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Russian and English, and possess a proven track record of meeting and ideally exceeding designated sales targets. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer based on skills and experience. Our client is happy to receive applications from candidates who require Work Permits in Cyprus.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and target potential clients, including funds and institutional investors within the EU and globally.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services and build professional connections.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals and presentations to potential clients, showcasing our services and unique value propositions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure client satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to Senior Management.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, stay updated on industry trends, and understand competitor activities.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand our client base.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • A relevant professional qualification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Client Relationship Management within the financial services industry, preferably in fund management or AIFM.
  • Strong understanding of the AIFM market and regulatory environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client bases.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English and Russian is required; additional European languages are an advantage.
