CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of IT Services & Solutions to a wide range of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior IT Technician to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Junior IT Technician, you will primarily be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, as well as installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and networks. An academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar is desirable, and you will need to have a sound understanding of computer hardware and software, as well as familiarity with operating systems. This is a junior-level position and full training will be provided. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Assist in the setup and deployment of new hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation.
• Document and manage technical issues using our ticketing system.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to improve and implement IT processes.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure system security.

Key Skills/Experience:

• An academic background relating to Computer Science, Information Technology or similar is desirable.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant IT certifications or coursework (preferred but not required).
