CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a UI/UX Designer to join their growing team based in either Nicosia or Limassol. As a UI/UX Designer you will primarily be responsible for creating high-fidelity designs and prototypes using Figma, as well as identifying and troubleshooting UX issues. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Design, Computer Science or another relevant field, who possess approximately 2+ years of previous experience designing for web and mobile within the financial services sector. You will need to be highly proficient with Figma, with a strong understanding of UI/UX design principles. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Create high-fidelity designs and prototypes using Figma.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX Problems.
• Solicit feedback from your peers, including other product designers and teammates.
• Prepare design artifacts for user testing and participate in the sessions by capturing feedback from users.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are feasible and meet business objectives.
• Perform user research to identify user needs and challenges.
• Produce functional prototypes that help evaluate the overall flow and experience of the product.
• Participate in user testing and refine designs based on feedback.

Key Skills/Experience:

• University Degree in Design, Computer Science or related field.
• 2 years of experience designing for web and mobile within the financial services sector.
• Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• A portfolio of work demonstrating design abilities.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Very good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and pick up new tools and technology quickly.
• Strong knowledge of typography and graphic design fundamentals a plus.
