The Island Private School of Limassol in Cyprus opened for the first 500 students in September 2022, and is now looking for competent, experienced and, above all, passionate Afternoon Facilitator to join our primary team (children of 3-11 years old) for the academic year 2024 - 2025.

Position Working Days/hours:

Monday to Friday/ 15:00-18:00 in Primary School or 16:00 - 18:00 in Pre-Primary School, both options are available

General responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and implementation of enrichment, health, and recreational extra-curricular learning experiences for students.
• Facilitate outside students’ playing and support children in personal hygiene and wellbeing routines.
• Perform related duties as assigned by Extracurricular Coordinator.
• Maintain confidentiality about children’s learning, development and care at all times.
• Monitor and ensure that students follow established routines and procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members (class teachers and co-teachers) to ensure a seamless transition between activities and programs
• Assist students to find correct activity club
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and training as required.
• Follow all relevant policies and procedures regarding safety, child protection, and health and safety.
• Following essential Classroom agreements with the members of the class-team (that includes homeroom teacher, co-teacher and afternoon co-teacher)
• Substitution hours of team members (assistants) according to team’s needs

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in working with children (e.g summer camps, afternoon schools e.t.c)
• English Intermediate at least and international mindedness.
• Compassionate and attentive to students; knows how children learn and can support their learning.
• We're considering both local and international candidates if they have a working VISA status as spouse (family reunification permit) or yellow slip for EU citizens
