Demstar Business Solutions Ltd, a well-established provider of technology solutions and services in Cyprus, is seeking a competent Microsoft Infrastructure & Cloud Solutions Engineer to join their high-caliber professional team in Nicosia.

The successful candidate will join the Infrastructure Solutions Engineering Team and will be responsible for providing advanced solutions and support services. Additionally, she/he will collaborate efficiently to process the infrastructure-related support tasks and presales activities

Main Responsibilities

• Be a member of the Infrastructure Solutions Team as a senior presales & solutions engineer, providing design, implementation and high-end support of related projects and customer setups.
• Providing Microsoft on prem and on cloud solutions and support, including Microsoft networking, Active Directory support, Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions design and support.
• Collaborating with the Engineering Manager and the team members to address projects and support tasks
• Working closely with the Solutions Manager and the Sales Team to design, prepare and implement infrastructure-related projects
• Ensuring that the Engineering Team is following the team procedures and policies
• Recommending and initiating new procedures that will improve the performance and effectiveness of the team and department
• Creating a positive working environment by establishing an encouraging, and creative team culture
• Contributing to the achievement of necessary professional certifications through training and development of the engineering team, securing the delivery of exceptional services
• Collaborating with the management team, selected partners, and vendors to set technical standards and strategic direction, and providing ideas for new solutions and services
• Assisting the engineer manager in assigning resources to open customer support calls and in providing help in technical, financial, and HR matters
• Consulting customers in the area of Microsoft Technologies & Cloud Solutions

Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or in any Information Technology related field
• Holder of at least one Microsoft certification like MCSE/MCSA/MCITP/ Azure Administrator Associate/ Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator, or equivalent
• Certified with the HPE ATP Hybrid Cloud Solutions and Servers & Storage certifications
• Holder of the VCP and/or VSTP and the VMCE certification
• Any other Security or Network certification will be considered a plus
• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles
• Experience with:
  • Microsoft Solutions (e.g. M365, O365, Exchange Online, Exchange on-premises)
  • Cloud Solutions (configuring O365/M365 and Azure tenants, managing SharePoint)
  • Virtualization Technologies (supporting VMware and Hyper-V virtual infrastructures)
  • Designing, deploying, and maintaining HPE Servers & Storage
  • Backup & Recovery Solutions (implementing Veeam Backup and Replication solutions both for on-prem and on-cloud workloads)

• Willingness for continuous learning and personal development
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English languages

Remuneration

A very attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and applicable experience including:

• Annual Gross Salary up to €45.000 per annum (payable in 13 salaries)
• Discretionary yearly bonus based on personal and the company’s performance
• Provident Fund with a profit-sharing deposit every year subject to annual profitability results
• Working hours 8:15 – 17:30 (Monday – Thursday) and 8:15 – 13:00 on Fridays
