CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will primarily be responsible for providing a range of accounting and bookkeeping services to clients, including the preparation and filing of VAT and VIES reports and the preparation of accounting books and financial statements. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance or other closely related fields, and holders of the LCCI Higher are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess approximately 2+ years of experience in a relevant role, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Assisting in the preparation of accounting books and financial statements.
• Assisting in the preparation and filing of VAT and VIES reports.
• Assisting in managing a portfolio of clients and accommodating their reporting and filings.
• Prepare any ad-hoc requested reports for the Management.
• Reporting to the Supervisor.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• LCCI Higher or Accounting degree.
• Approximately 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Computer skills in MS Office.
• Knowledge of accounting software Cycom and Caseware will be considered as an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek languages.
• Ambitious, ready-to-learn-the-job attitude, fast learner with good organizational skills.
