CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding Group of Companies operating in the Medical Sector, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to join their growing team based in Limassol. As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in financial operations, overseeing and executing various financial and accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for executing accounting processes, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic insights to optimize financial performance. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other closely related fields, who possess proven experience in a relevant senior-level finance and accounting role, with a particular emphasis on financial reporting and analysis. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Oversee the general ledger and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, and collections, to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Conduct variance analysis and trend analysis to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate audits conducted by external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support throughout the audit process.
  • Continuously evaluate accounting processes and systems to identify opportunities for streamlining and efficiency improvements.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Leadership experience and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Proficiency in SoftOne will be considered as an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills is a requirement.
  • Past experience in the medical field will be considered as an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
