Course Administrator (Maternity Cover)

The University of Nicosia (UNIC) is a leading research university ranked in the Top 501-600 in the 2024 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

UNIC Health, supporting the strategic growth of its Medical and Veterinary Schools seeks a Course Administrator based in Nicosia to join its Clinical Education and Programme Management team on a fixed-term contract, for a time period of 6 months as a maternity cover.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Schedule lectures, tutorials and practicals in coordination with teaching staff.
  • Offer administrative support to committees and working groups: plan, hold, take minutes and follow-up on action points.
  • Development and maintenance of student handbooks and other student information.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students and staff regarding administrative matters.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in administrative roles of at least 2 years, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Postgraduate studies will be an advantage.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Solid knowledge of office procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a diverse team of professionals.

The ideal candidate should be eligible to work in the European Union/ European Economic Area.
