At current, bbf: is looking to expand the internal team and is seeking a Procurement Officer to join the Project Management Department.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor the filing system and database for each procurement case to ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
• Communicate regularly with the accounting team to resolve any procurement-related issues and ensure alignment on financial matters.
• Provide effective support on purchasing operations across all businesses within the Company, ensuring procurement activities meet business needs and standards.
• Gather tender requirements and conduct market research on the tendering process.
• Perform arithmetical and technical evaluations to identify the most suitable bidders.
• Provide administrative support to the procurement team as needed, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• College or university graduate; equivalent experience in a similar role in the Development field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Procurement field.
• Proficient in spreadsheet and communication tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of SAP Business One would be an advantage.
• Good command of English language.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• Avid team player with a fast-learning and adaptable approach.
