Responsibilities

• Onboard clients
• Liaise with clients and provide support in relation to the firms AML requirements.
• Conduct day-to-day client reviews and inspections to assess the company’s compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
• Identify, record, and evaluate risks associated with existing and new customers, updating and amending company systems and procedures accordingly.
• Liaise with banks and counterparties in relation to internal and client KYC matters.
• Provide assistance to internal or external auditors in compliance reviews.
• Consult with corporate attorneys as necessary to address difficult legal compliance issues.
• Monitor and assess the implementation of policies, practices, procedures, controls, and risk management measures.
• Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received / investigation outcomes/compliance reports etc.
• Advise internal management or business partners on the implementation or operation of
• compliance programs.
• Review existing and new AML/CFT Laws, Regulations, Directives, guidance, industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess their impact on office operations.
• Prepare, complete and arrange submission of all required CYSEC reporting requirements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Prepare, complete and arrange submission of all required FATCA and CRS reports on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress.
• Report violations of compliance or regulatory standards to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate or required.
• Serve as a confidential point of contact for employees to communicate with management, seek clarification on issues or dilemmas, or report irregularities.
• Train and educate staff on compliance functions, policies, procedures and obligations.
• Discuss emerging compliance issues with management or employees.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned for the overall benefit of the firm

Requirements

• Holds a graduate degree from a reputable university in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Has 3+ years of professional experience in a corporate compliance environment.
• Possesses a CySEC AML Certificate.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of AML regulations.
• Fluent in both Greek and English (written and verbal).
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and Quorum.
• High ethical standards- integrity

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
