Career Opportunity

We are looking for an individual who possesses exceptional communication skills and can effectively serve as a Consulting Officer in the Restructuring Services division in our office in Nicosia. The primary focus of this role involves managing and executing all aspects related to the documentation and resolution of non-performing loans. This role also involves a heavy element of stakeholders’ management, coordinating with various authorities & teams, ensuring the proper completion of needed paperwork for execution of approved settlement arrangements and acquiring necessary clearance certificates. The ideal candidate should have a background in banking and a solid understanding of loan restructuring processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Documentation Management:

  • Oversee and manage all documentation related to non-performing loans.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan settlement documentation.

  • Track and maintain records of all documents and correspondence.

Authority Coordination:

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, legal entities, and other relevant authorities.

  • Obtain necessary approvals, clearances, and certifications as required.

  • Address and resolve any issues or queries from authorities in a timely manner.

Clearance Certificates:

  • Collect and verify clearance certificates from relevant parties.

  • Ensure all required certificates are acquired and recorded properly.

  • Follow up on outstanding certificates and documentation as needed.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and financial departments to ensure smooth processes.

  • Prepare reports and updates on the status of each case.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience involving credit facilities and real estate management will be considered an advantage.

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.

  • Team player and collaborate well with others.

  • Proactive and energetic with a positive attitude.

  • Flexible and easily adaptable to new tasks.
