St Raphael Resort & Marina is looking for a new associate to join our Management Team as a Food & Beverage Manager and grow with us.

Job Overview

The Food and Beverage Manager will lead, supervise, control and ensure the smooth running of all Food and Beverage Departments (Restaurants, Bars, Kitchens, Room Service, Banqueting) and the relevant team members, in the most efficient and effective manner.

Main Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinates the smooth work process and communication between the F&B departments to ensure the prescribed threshold values for quality of service and ongoing improvement for guests.
  • To implement and train the correct hotel service standards, monitor and strive for continuous improvement.
  • To identify, in conjunction with the F&B Heads market needs and trends.
  • To ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and by taking corrective actions and by instructing employees on specific safety work practices.
  • To inspect all Food and Beverage areas daily (front and back) to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, appropriate physical condition and functioning of all equipment.
  • Contributes to the implementation of advertising campaigns or special hotel services in the local market.
  • Contributes to the effective interviewing, selection, integration and team members training (both formal and ‘on the job’).
  • Assists daily in the coaching of team members ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency and in the most productive manner.
  • To sense guest needs and to ensure a prompt, courteous response and follow up to all enquiries and guest requests to maximum satisfaction.
  • To analyze daily and monthly the financial results and to detect possible

deviations from the economic goals of the hotel, then to find the causes in cooperation with the departmental managers concerned, to further analyze and finally to propose the timely corrections to the General Manager aiming to maximize profitability.

Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree in a relevant subject -– Hotel address
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in 4 or 5-star Hotels
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages. It would be very useful to be acquainted with a third European language.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Word and Excel.
