CAREER OPPORTUNITY
We seek to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and hard-working individual for the position of Associate – Governance, Risk and Compliance Services in our Nicosia Office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take part in full-cycle engagements, development of planning stage, perform different types of fieldwork procedures, finalize reporting to the management team using a risk-based approach on all stages
- Obtaining, analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc
- Perform controls procedures for various financial reporting sections (controls over financial reporting / financial statements controls)
- Reviewing and assessing the Control Systems and Governance arrangements for key clients, identifying areas of potential efficiency improvements
- Develop of action plan, regular follow-up, monitor the recommendations implementation based on audit results, conduct periodic reviews, and track key milestones
- Carry out various control procedures that covered the company’s key business processes (procurement, payments, marketing expenses, transactions flow)
- Perform other tasks aimed at increasing the reliability of financial statements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree and in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Law or in any other related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
- Team player and collaborate well with others.
- Proactive and energetic with a positive attitude.
