A new project (bar-restaurant) in Nicosia specializing in outstanding hospitality and entertainment services is looking to recruit a Head Chef.

Duties
Menu planning and development: The Head Chef creates menus that are both innovative and profitable. He must take into account local seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and current food trends.
Recipe development: The Head Chef develops and tests new recipes to ensure that they meet restaurant’s standards for taste and presentation.
Purchasing and inventory management: The Head responsible for ordering food, & supplies as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. He is also part of plates purchasing & equipment.
Food preparation and presentation: The Head Chef oversees all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and garnishing.
Staff management: The Head Chef manages the kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
Food safety and sanitation: The Head Chef ensures that all food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
Budget management: The Head Chef is responsible for managing the kitchen budget, including labor costs, food costs, and equipment expenses.
Customer service: The Head Chef may interact with customers to answer questions, receive feedback, and ensure that they are satisfied with their dining experience.
Quality control: The Head Chef is responsible for ensuring that all food leaving the kitchen meets the restaurant's quality standards.
Event planning and catering: The Head Chef may be responsible for planning and executing special events and catering services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Passion for cooking and hospitality
- Excellent communication
- Good vibes and positive energy.
- Understanding of stock control and ordering systems
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain the highest standards
