Your role at Exness:

As our general technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall functionality and appearance of a residential complex. You ensure a safe, clean, and pleasant living environment for residents, contributing significantly to the quality of life within the complex.

You will:

  • Oversee and maintain electrical, mechanical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Perform minor repairs on plumbing systems (e.g., fixing leaks, unclogging drains), electrical systems (e.g., replacing light bulbs, fixing outlets), and carpentry (e.g., repairing doors, fixing cabinets).
  • Troubleshoot and repair household appliances like washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers in communal areas or in resident units as needed.
  • Maintain and repair swimming pool equipment and make sure that the swimming pool is well clean.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks such as lubricating door hinges, checking and replacing air filters, and testing smoke detectors.
  • Be available to respond to emergency maintenance requests, such as water leaks, electrical outages, or broken locks, often requiring after-hours work.
  • Support residents during move-ins and move-outs by ensuring units are ready, conducting inspections, and handling minor repairs.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and health standards.
  • Work closely with the managers and service desk to prioritize maintenance tasks, report on completed work, and address any ongoing issues.
  • Assist in coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs or larger maintenance projects, ensuring they adhere to complex standards and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders completed, materials used, and any significant issues encountered.

What makes you a great fit:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance work, preferably in a residential/hotel property management setting.
  • Be certified by the local authorities to make a maintenance of electrical systems as per the code Η.Μ.Υ. 67.09
  • Be certified by regulation of EC 2067/2015
  • Ability to handle specialized tasks such as tiling, drywall installation, or appliance repair is a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to quickly diagnose problems and determine the most effective solutions.
  • Capability to make quick decisions, particularly in emergency situations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on residents.
  • Flexibility to be on-call for emergencies, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
  • Willingness to work overtime, when necessary, particularly during peak maintenance periods.
  • Ability to work alongside other maintenance staff, cleaners, and property managers to ensure the complex is well-maintained.
  • Fluently speak in Greek and English.
