Position: Logistics Coordinator

Lapwings seeks a highly motivated Logistics Coordinator based in Cyprus with a logistics/forwarding background toexpand business opportunities for our daily shipments. The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of spare parts shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with international shipping regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation, managing inventory, and communicating with suppliers, customers, and internal team. WHAT WILL YOU DO

1. Coordinate and oversee the shipping of spare parts, ensuring on-time delivery.
2. Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers to schedule shipments and resolve any issues.
3. Track shipments and update internal systems to provide real-time information on delivery status.
4. Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and export paperwork.
5. Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
6. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse team to prepare orders.
7. Monitor and report on key logistics metrics, including shipping costs, delivery times, and customer satisfaction.
8. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.

REQUIREMENTS

1. College’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination, preferably in the spare parts industry.
3. Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, including customs and export requirements.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
6. Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS

1. Stellar communication and written skills in Greek/English; knowledge of an additional language is considered an advantage.
   
2. Robust computer skills (MS Office with a focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
