CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a recently established renewable energy company, with a focus on solar power generation and supply, we are seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role closely monitoring and evaluating the progress of projects, providing regular feedback and updates to Senior Management regarding the quality of work delivered by the contractor, including ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or other closely related fields, who possess approximately 3+ years of previous relevant experience gained working in the renewable energy field. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and possess strong knowledge of Solar Energy and Photovoltaic technology. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to maintain quality control and track progress, ensuring successful project execution
• Supervises on installations and ensures methods of operation are followed in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensures productivity rates are met daily, and installations are conducted up to quality standards.
• Ensures all aspects on site are operating smoothly, plans daily resources, tools and equipment and ensures site facilities are well maintained.
• Reports daily, weekly, and monthly progress to the project team.
• Maintain project documents and filing system.
• Supervise all site acceptance tests with the relevant consultants.
• Handling and coordinating all communication with all project stakeholders.
• Supporting the technical and financial aspects of projects, including resource assessment, and performance analysis.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for potential projects.
• Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience gained working in the renewable energy field.
• Experience managing projects from conception to completion, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling proposals.
• Experience in managing small to medium scale projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
• Creative thinking and a proactive approach to improving systems and processes.
• English and Greek language proficiency is a must.
• Specialised knowledge in the following areas: Project Management, PV Installations, Grid-Connected Systems, Cypriot Grid Code.
• Experience working with simulation software such as PVsol, PVsyst, Helioscope, and/or Meteonorm.
