A ZEMENIDES & CO LTD , an ACCA approved employer, is looking to hire Accountants for its offices in Limassol.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Posting and processing of journal entries to ensure that all business transactions of his/her portfolio are recorded in the accounting software.
- Reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable of his/her client portfolio, quarterly and on year end.
- Finalising accounting records and being the main contact with the auditors for his/her portfolio.
- Reviewing the work of his/her team members and providing training and assistance to subordinates.
- Reporting to the Head of the Department for the progress of his/her team.
- Consulting clients in relation to accounting issues and tax obligations.
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar is desirable.
- Good knowledge of VAT and Tax Law.
- Good knowledge and practical application of IAS and IFRS.
- Good knowledge of MS Office-Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Excellent command of Greek and English languages.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Capable of working on own initiative.
- Pleasant personality.
- Eager to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
