A ZEMENIDES & CO LTD , an ACCA approved employer, is looking to hire Accountants for its offices in Limassol.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Posting and processing of journal entries to ensure that all business transactions of his/her portfolio are recorded in the accounting software.
• Reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable of his/her client portfolio, quarterly and on year end.
• Finalising accounting records and being the main contact with the auditors for his/her portfolio.
• Reviewing the work of his/her team members and providing training and assistance to subordinates.
• Reporting to the Head of the Department for the progress of his/her team.
• Consulting clients in relation to accounting issues and tax obligations.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

• An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar is desirable.
• Good knowledge of VAT and Tax Law.
• Good knowledge and practical application of IAS and IFRS.
• Good knowledge of MS Office-Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent command of Greek and English languages.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Capable of working on own initiative.
• Pleasant personality.
• Eager to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
