CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a Group of Companies offering facilities management services, we are seeking to recruit a proactive and organized Facilities Management Specialist to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Facilities Management Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and scheduling of both corrective and preventive maintenance tasks with subcontractors, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery. This role involves close collaboration with subcontractors to oversee cleaning, guarding, and electromechanical services, ensuring they meet client expectations and safety standards. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, who possess approximately 2+ years of previous relevant experience gained working in facilities or maintenance management. Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is essential, along with excellent communication and presentation skills. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary and Provident Fund. 

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the organisation and scheduling of maintenance works (both corrective and preventive) with subcontractors.
  • Ensure that such maintenance is performed on time.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors in order to ensure that services such as cleaning, guarding, as well as electromechanical works meet clients’ needs.
  • Gather and review reports from subcontractors with regards to completed works.
  • Maintain accurate records of all works performed.
  • Assist in obtaining quotations and in the preparation of cost estimates for maintenance and service tasks.
  • Communicate with clients in order to keep them updated on the progress of works and services, and address any questions.
  • Ensure that works and services meet health, safety, and quality guidelines and standards.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in an Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Approximately 2+ years of relevant experience gained working in a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of the English & Greek languages (speaking and writing).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Organized, diligent and detail oriented.
  • Computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professionalism, work ethic, self-motivation, and a team player.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
