The Client:

On behalf of our client, Cyprus Seeds, we are looking to recruit a Marketing & Communications Officer for its offices in Nicosia.

The Client:

Cyprus Seeds is a not-for-profit organization with the mission to slow down the brain drain of talented young researchers and enhance the pipeline of technology spin-offs in Cyprus

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute Cyprus Seeds events, including networking events, workshops, and meetings in Cyprus and internationally.

• Coordinate logistics for events, including venue bookings, participant invitations, material preparation, and on-site support to ensure seamless, professional events.

• Build relationships with media contacts to increase Cyprus Seeds' visibility and secure coverage in relevant publications.

• Develop and distribute press releases, e-newsletters, and other communication materials to showcase Cyprus Seeds' initiatives and successes.

• Maintain and update the Cyprus Seeds website (WordPress) and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).

• Design visually engaging content for social media, presentations, and event invitations using Canva or similar tools.

• Work collaboratively with the team to develop content that aligns with Cyprus Seeds' branding and communication goals.

• Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including researchers, investors, entrepreneurs, donors, and public authorities.

Skills - Qualifications – Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Excellent spoken and written proficiency in both Greek and English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, and Canva.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to work on his/her own initiative, as well as part of a team.

• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to carrying out his/her responsibilities and adherence to ethical principles.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders.

• Competent user of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).

• Understanding digital analytics tools and social media insights is a plus.

Location:
The position is for the Company’s offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
