Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a Financial Services company in Limassol, is seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to be responsible for the Department;

Responsibilities:

• Legal agreements review and negotiation, ongoing monitoring after execution for expiry, renewal, notice periods etc.
• Reviewing and approving marketing material as per the relevant legislation; making suggestions accordingly in order to be compliant with the regulation.
• Provide support in the development of adequate policies and procedures to meet generally acceptable compliance requirements (Off-Shore and CySEC) and other applicable rules and regulations. Provide support and liaise with external service providers in the design of the Internal practices, processes, procedures, and controls including but not limited the IOM, Compliance program, CAP, and Money Laundering.
• Assist in tracking regulatory changes and ensure that needed changes are implemented in a timely manner.
• Provide support with internal compliance audits.
• Prepare and submit information/reports in accordance to the reporting lines followed by the Company
• Respond to Compliance inquiries.
• Comply with KYC requirements and keep records in our database updated.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance practices across the parent company and subsidiaries.
• Manage compliance documentation and reporting.
  

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both verbal and written communication skills in English is a must. Fluency in Greek will be considered an advantage.
• Degree in Law
• 2-3 years of experience in a compliance role within the CFD Broker industry.
• CySEC advanced certification and/or CySEC AML certification
• Knowledge of regulatory environments under FSCA and FSC.
• Proficiency with compliance screening tools (e.g., Sumsub, Shufti Pro) is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of the AML legislation.
• Excellent skills in documenting and processing information.
• High attention to detail and professional attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality at all levels.
