CSP (Cyprus Services Provider) JV, an established Joint Venture working within the British Sovereign Base areas, has a requirement for a Storekeeper in Dhekelia and Akrotiri.

Storekeeper

The Storekeeper will undertake the day-to-day operation of the stores.

Key Competencies:

• Issuing material on the computer data base against work orders incorporating stores documentation.
• Completing stores transactions including stock transfers, stock adjustments, physical description changes stock returns, location changes and new entries.
• Compiling perpetual physical inventories controlling stock checking procedures ensuring computerised records are kept on each stock category and warehouse to provide stock analysis trends.
• The upkeep of an articulate filing system for hard copy documentation and auditing purposes.
• Problem solving skills regarding stock discrepancies including correctional methods with audit traceability.
• Telephone and email abilities required involving stock related enquiries to include and stores functions/methods.
• Raising purchase orders to cover the absence of the store procurement clerk and all relevant methods required as cover for the purchasing function.
• Total knowledge and flexibility of all stores processes is a requirement to ensure teamwork is effective.

Experience:

• Trade background with over 5 years’ experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of working on MOD environment would be preferable.
• IT literate and able to use stores management systems.
• Good knowledge of English and Greek.
