Minthis is seeking to recruit professional and high-energy Head Waiter to join our growing team of people.

Location: Minthis, Paphos

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures that standards of service are met at all times, as determined by the Food and Beverage Standards as well as the Resort’s Policies.

• Ensures that service staff are knowledgeable on both food and beverage menus.

• Ensures perfect environment/communication between culinary and service staff.

• Ensures staff understand expectations and parameters.

• Observes service behaviours of staff and provides feedback to individuals of the team.

• Ensures that all reporting staff maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times.

• Assists in the set-up of the restaurant before service, ensuring all required items are stocked and ready.

• Checks in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.

• Monitors inventory and ensures that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.

• Monitors the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills.

• Resolves customer complaints in a professional manner.

• Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned or as requested by Supervisors and/or Management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality is advantageous.

• At least 2-3 years’ experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry.

• Outstanding attention to detail and excellent communication & organisation skills.

• Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.

• Professional appearance and attitude.

• Computer literacy.

• Proactive organizational skills.

• Team spirit and co-operation with other colleagues and supervisors.

• Pleasant and friendly personality.

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate including basic salary, 13th salary, Provident Fund, Full year employment, Overtime Payment, and Public Holidays payment 1-1:5
