Best Western Plus Larco Hotel is looking to employ Front Office Manger.
Location: LARNAKA
Job Summary: As the Hotel Front Office Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the front office operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out. You will lead and motivate a team of front desk agents, night auditors, and bellhops/porters to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the front desk, reservations, guest services, and telephone areas.
- Train, supervise, and motivate front office staff, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and maintain the front desk and lobby area for cleanliness, organization, and appearance.
- Ensure accurate billing and collection of payments from guests.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issues.
- Develop and implement strategies for maximizing room occupancy and revenue.
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to review performance, provide feedback, and promote teamwork.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed for the front office.
- Implement and enforce hotel security procedures to ensure the safety of guests and employees.
- Prepare reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Front Office Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel management software. Very good knowledge of booking.com , Expedia and other on-line platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or relevant field (preferred).
- Certification in Hotel Management or similar (preferred).
