Swissport Cyprus has been providing ground handling, cargo and executive aviation services at Larnaca and Paphos airports since May 2008. These include activities like the movement of the aircraft, baggage handling as well as check-in and gate services. Every flight’s journey begins long before take-off, and you are the face of that journey. As a Passenger Service Agent, you ensure passengers feel welcomed, informed, and ready for their travels. Your dedication and attention to detail are vital to our mission of delivering exceptional ground services. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations smooth, passengers delighted, and flights on time.
Here’s what you’ll be doing
You’ll be the go-to person for travellers, assisting them from check-in to boarding and beyond. Whether they need help with their tickets, have questions about their flight, or require special assistance, you’ll deliver a seamless, memorable experience.
Specifically, you’ll:
- Welcome and check in passengers, ensuring all departure documentation is complete and verified.
- Issue boarding passes and manage baggage processing, including weighing and tagging.
- Handle inquiries, resolve customer complaints, and provide support during flight disruptions.
- Facilitate the boarding process, including making public announcements and ensuring a safe jetway operation.
- Manage delayed, lost, or damaged baggage cases, providing follow-up and resolution.
- Deliver personalized assistance to VIP passengers and unaccompanied minors.
You need these qualifications:
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You have exceptional communication skills in English and Greek.
- You’re experienced in providing excellent customer service.
- You thrive under pressure and excel in problem-solving and multitasking.
- You’re familiar with Microsoft Office and reservation systems.
- You’re flexible and can work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
It would be nice if:
While not required, the following would make you an even better fit:
- You speak additional languages beyond English and Greek.
- You’ve worked in aviation, or another fast-paced customer service role.
