Senior Technical Support Engineer

​​​​​On behalf of a client, a well-established company operating in iCT industry, we are currently seeking a talented, motivated and self-driven Senior Technical Support Engineer to join the team in Nicosia. In this exciting role, you will provide technical support to both internal staff and external clients, optimizing the customer support experience and ensuring the smooth operation of the department in order for the Company to achieve its strategic objectives.

Position's Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat, addressing their issues promptly, professionally and in a timely manner.

• Provide technical support for software installations, repairs, and upgrades.

• Provide technical guidance, training, and support on the operation and maintenance of company’s products to customers.

• Conduct wi-fi installations to address customers’ needs.

• Offer technical support to internal staff, addressing hardware and software related issues.

• Manage and maintain IT equipment, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition.

Position's Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering or any other related field.

• At least 5+ year of professional experience in technical support, or in a similar role with similar duties and responsibilities.

• Excellent knowledge of diagnosing and repairing hardware issues in mobile devices and related peripherals.

• Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and cloud services.

• Experience and knowledge of Active directory

• Experience in set up and configuration of Microsoft servers

• Experience with VMware or HyperV

• Ability to think critically, anticipate potential challenges and proactively address technical issues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
