Almond Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a professional accounting firm, have an excellent opportunity for a Compliance Officer to join their Nicosia office. The successful candidate will be responsible in overseeing and implementing KYC and AML policies for existing and new clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and well-respected company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement KYC/AML policies and procedures
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for new and existing clients
• Monitor transactions for suspicious activities and ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain and update compliance records in line with legal requirements
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal teams on compliance matters
• Conduct staff training on AML/KYC best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in KYC/AML compliance (preferably in an audit/accounting firm, law firm)
• Knowledge of local and international AML regulations
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information
