Senior Full Stack Web Developer

On behalf of a client, provider of specialized and integrated IT and communications solutions in the Cypriot market, we are currently seeking talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join their team in Nicosia.

Objective
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in building web applications using .NET frameworks for the backend and modern frontend technologies. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality and scalable web solutions.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications and services using .NET Core/.NET Framework and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js).
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Build intuitive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern frontend libraries or frameworks.
• Ensure responsive and cross-browser compatibility for web applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend logic using C# and .NET technologies.
• Integrate with databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) and write optimized queries.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement user-centric designs.
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure consistent development workflows and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate with Product Manager to ensure implementation consistency with business requirements.
• Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues across the full stack.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Use Git or similar version control tools for source code management.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline processes for automated deployment and testing.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for code and systems.
• Assist in creating user guides when needed.

Position’s Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in full stack web development, with a focus on .NET technologies.
• Certifications in Microsoft .NET or related technologies are a plus.
Technical Skills:

1. Development:
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Experience with frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap or other responsive design frameworks.
• Strong understanding of object orient programming and C# and the .NET ecosystem (e.g., .NET Core, .NET Framework).
• Experience in creating APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework and LINQ.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like xUnit or NUnit.

2. Database:
• Proficiency in relational databases and Ms SQL Server.
• Understanding of database design and query optimization.

3. DevOps:
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.

4. Security & Performance
• Understanding of security best practices in web development.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring and optimization tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
