We are currently looking to recruit a Junior Advocate to join KPMG Law, operating through Theodorides, Georgiou, Iacovou & Co LLC at KPMG Law’s offices in Limassol. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and ambitious professional who wishes to develop their career in a high-performance environment.

The Opportunity:

  • Assistance with legal services relating to financial services regulation, including legal reviews, drafting of documentation and carrying out of specialized due diligences
  • Assist with legal services in data, digital and technology projects
  • Assistance with advising on legal and regulatory requirements relevant to data, digital and technology
  • Assistance with review and drafting of contracts and other documents relevant to data, digital and technology
  • Carrying out specialized due diligences in data, digital and technology
  • Communication with regulatory and supervisory authorities
  • Assistance with M&A transactions and general corporate and commercial law advisory
  • Research for and preparation of specialized legal opinions.

The Requirements:

  • University degree with a grade 2:1 or equivalent in Law
  • 2-3 years of working experience in Business or Corporate law
  • Working experience in financial services regulation and/or in data, digital and technology projects shall be considered as an advantage
  • Very good working knowledge of the Cyprus Corporate Law and Contract Law
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
