The Position

On behalf of our client, a well reputable fiduciary firm, we are looking to recruit the Senior Accountant for its offices in Nicosia.

The Client

Our Client, is a long-established accounting and service provider firm in Cyprus (since 1975), offering a comprehensive range of services, including accounting, VAT, payroll, company formation, trust formation, and more. Main purpose is to offer expert solutions to both local and international clients, ensuring their businesses thrive in a competitive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake accounting work for a portfolio of local and international clients .

• Prepare VAT / VIES.

• Undertake payroll process.

• Supervise, review, and provide guidance to a team of accountants and staff.

• Liaise with clients, auditors and management to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Support the ongoing development of junior staff through training and mentoring.
  

Skills / Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• LCCI Accounting Higher and/or AAT

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting

• Experience working with local and international companies.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Fluency in spoken and written Greek and English is essential

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Location

The position is for Nicosia with occasional home or remote working at Clients' site.
