The Position

On behalf of our client, a well reputable fiduciary firm, we are looking to recruit the Junior Accountant for its offices in Nicosia.

The Client

Our Client, is a long-established accounting and service provider firm in Cyprus (since 1975), offering a comprehensive range of services, including accounting, VAT, payroll, company formation, trust formation, and more. Main purpose is to offer expert solutions to both local and international clients, ensuring their businesses thrive in a competitive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake payroll for clients.

• Undertake through Ergani recruitment and termination of employment.

• Assist Accountants for bookkeeping work for local and international companies.

• Undertake administrative work for the accounting department like new client procedures.

• Provide support to Senior Accountants.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and/or LCCI Level 2/3 Higher (Accounting).

• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.

• Previous experience in office administration or accounting will be considered an advantage.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to maintain confidentiality and integrity

Location

The position is for the Client's offices in Nicosia.
