CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit an HR Payroll Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments, managing payroll records, as well as forming and maintaining employee records and update databases internally. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, who possess approximately 2+ years of experience in HR, payroll processing, or a similar role. You will need to have strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and payroll systems, and any certification in HR or payroll processing, such as SHRM-CP, CPP, will be considered as an advantage. Experience with HR software and databases is essential. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments, managing payroll records.
- Address employee inquiries about compensation.
- Provide regular reports on HR and payroll metrics.
- Form and maintain employee records and update databases internally.
- Prepare and amend where necessary HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides.
- Answer employees’ queries about HR-related issues (etc. benefits, number of vacation days they’re eligible for).
- Foster a positive and happy working environment.
- Develop and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Utilize social media for job promotion and employer branding (showcasing company culture, achievements, and employee activities).
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Approximately 2+ years of experience in HR, payroll processing, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and payroll systems.
- Certification in HR or payroll processing (e.g., SHRM-CP, CPP), will be considered as an advantage.
- Experience with HR software and databases.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively address employee inquiries and concerns.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with creating reports and utilizing HR analytics tools.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work under pressure.
