CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global provider of payment solutions with expanding operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a number of Software Engineers with varying levels of experience to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicants will be responsible for the end-to-end software development lifecycle whilst collaborating and communicating with various internal teams. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Computer Science, or another closely related field, who possess some knowledge and experience of one of more of the following technologies: Java, C/C++, C#, React.js, JavaScript, and/or HTML5. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Develop code and automations using various technologies.
• Maintain product compatibility with latest technologies.
• Troubleshooting & resolve issues as part of the software development life-cycle.
• Communicating and enforcing coding standards.
• Belong to an agile team with agile rhythms.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Developers, Testers, Team Leader.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent degree in a related subject i.e. MIS.
• Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following technologies is a must: Java, C/C++, C#, React.js, JavaScript, and/or HTML5.
• Basic Knowledge of Database Concepts and SQL.
• Good Knowledge on UNIX/Linux Operating Systems will be considered as plus
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes etc. will be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of Cloud environments such as AWS will be considered a plus.
• Good knowledge and understanding of REST API’s.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Flexibility to work as part of a rotational 24 hour on-call programme.
