HR Manager

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Manager to support our client’s hotel’s HR administration, workforce management, and compliance. Our client is a group of companies operating in the industry of hotel management.

Objective
This role will handle employment contracts, shift coordination, recruitment, performance management, and legal compliance. The HR Manager will work closely with the Hotel Manager and department heads to ensure smooth HR operations, workforce planning, and adherence to labor laws.Position’s Duties and Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee Records:
• Prepare, maintain, and update employment contracts, amendments, and terminations.
• Ensure accurate employee records, payroll data, and HR documentation are maintained in line with regulations.
• Manage staff files, leave records, medical records, and attendance tracking.
• Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Handle HR-related correspondence and internal communications.
Workforce Planning & Shift Management:
• Collaborate with the Hotel Manager and department heads to coordinate staff shifts, scheduling, and workforce availability.
• Ensure shift plans comply with labor laws (e.g., working hours, rest breaks, overtime).
• Support staffing adjustments based on hotel occupancy, seasonal demand, and operational needs.


Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
• Manage job postings, screening, interviews, and hiring processes for hotel positions.
• Coordinate with department managers to identify staffing needs and hiring timelines.
• Conduct reference checks and employment verification.
• Assist in employee onboarding, induction programs, and training coordination.
Basic Performance Management & Employee Relations:
• Support performance evaluation processes and assist managers in tracking employee performance.
• Handle basic employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the Hotel Manager.
• Ensure fair and transparent HR practices to promote employee satisfaction and retention.
• Assist in training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and service quality.
Legal Compliance & Policies:
• Ensure hotel HR policies align with labor laws and hospitality industry regulations.
• Monitor compliance with work permits, employment laws, and health & safety standards.
• Stay updated on local employment regulations and advise management on any legal changes.
• Support audits and inspections related to HR compliance.

Position’s Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in hospitality or hotel industry.
• Knowledge of employment laws, contracts, and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive HR matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
