POSITION OF IT ASSISTANT

Stademos Hotels Ltd, a leading Group within the Cyprus Hospitality industry, is seeking to recruit an IT Assistant responsible for all 3 hotels (AMARA, Elysium and Mediterranean Beach Hotel).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide helpdesk administration support and computer/laptop setup, including offsite support, and serve as the first point of contact for IT support.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
  • Resolve issues via phone, in person, or remotely
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues in timely manner.
  • Maintain and provide support on IT, telephone system, software and hardware equipment and provide resolution of related problems.
  • Maintain and setup Windows/ Network Equipment.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and manage related service contracts.
  • Manage the company's IT assets.
  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of security software and tools, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to information security and office IT administration.
  • Perform user ID daily operations and IT security administration activities
  • Perform regular maintenance and reporting for user ID management system
  • Support user enquiries and helpdesk service
  • Support periodical user profile review and audit related to system access control
  • Perform internal administrative works and maintain system documentation
  • Helping to install, configure and maintain the company’s IT framework
  • Setting up hardware and software applications as and when required
  • Providing general support for the IT department and for the company’s computer users
  • Installing and maintaining various peripherals as well as installing relevant updates and patches

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Diploma or above in IT/Computing/Computer Science or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience (work experience in a similar role in a financial institution is preferred).
  • Problem solving ability
  • Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and tactfully.
  • Excellent communication skills, time management skills – able to plan, prioritize and organize.
  • Fluent Greek & English
  • Flexible in work times. May be required to work outside of normal office hours.
