Senior Developer

Our client, a well established organization operating in the Information Technology Industry, is seeking a talented, motivated and self-driven Software Engineer to join their team. In this exciting role, you'll design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge software solutions for a variety of projects across the company.
As a key member of the development team, you'll work on diverse projects that directly contribute to the company's strategic goals and objectives. You'll engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into reliable, scalable, and secure technical solutions.

Position's Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization for reliability and security of software applications.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications
• Conduct technical assessment to evaluate the suitability of proposed solutions, identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies
• Provide input during the requirements gathering phase to contribute in the refinement of the project scope, prioritize features and establish realistic timelines.
• Develop installation and deployment procedures for software applications, ensuring smooth and error-free deployment across various environments.
• Conduct compatibility testing and validation to verify that software installations meet system requirements
• Deliver software updates/releases to customers in a timely manner.
• Address customer feedback, bug reports, and feature requests promptly, prioritizing issues based on severity and impact on user experience.
• Document support interactions in a ticketing system, ensuring that information is readily accessible to support team members and stakeholders.

Position's Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Hands on experience in React programming language.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages and tools: C#, .NET, Oracle, Blazor, SQL, DB2, JavaScript.
• Hands on experience in React programming language.
• Excellent knowledge of both Greek and English language.
• Understanding of software testing principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
