As the Food and Beverage Controller, you will effectively manage Food and Beverage costs and oversee the daily operations of F&B accounting.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, track, and optimize cost control initiatives across all company outlets. This role will involve analysing and guiding the achievement of financial goals related to Food and Beverage purchasing, inventory, and income audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse the custom menu item cost and recommend menu modification for new and current items
- Understand the factors involved in calculating food and beverage costs
- Responsible for ensuring the completion and integrity for all month and inventories for each of the Food and Beverage reports
- Oversee proper receiving and transfer procedures through a controlled requisition and distribution system, with authorized requisitions in all facilities
- To know well the procedure related to purchase order requests and delivery of invoices
- Prepare detailed costing of any event/function and conclude with a cost-benefit analysis
- To understand the importance of the delivery/receiving procedure at the stores from the suppliers and ensures that all procedures are being followed by both our suppliers and our team members
- Ensure compliance with delivery and receiving procedures at the stores, following HACCP criteria
- Calculate daily food and beverage costs and identify corrective actions as needed
- Conduct fixed asset stock taking and prepare the relevant reports. In addition, prepares the preliminary needs/requirements for the following year
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality and Food and Beverage departments
- Strong teamwork orientation
- Project management skills
- Advanced computer proficiency
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding communication skills
- Proficient in English and Greek
- EU citizen
