Apserou Shiaka & Co is an accounting, audit and tax advisory firm that provides services to both local and international clients. The owners of the firm are Chartered Certified Accountants.

Our firm is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant for offices in Nicosia for full time employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process financial statements under IFRS
• Examine, analyse and reconcile accounting and financial records as well as documents such as bank statements, dividends, budgets, loans, payroll transactions, reconciliations of debtors and creditors and others
• Prepare the audit file for the auditors to perform the audit of the client
• Prepare and submit tax returns (eg IR1 IR4 IR7 IR603 IR614)
• Ensure accuracy with tax and government guidelines policies and procedures
• Ensuring work is prepared in accordance with the firm's policy and standards

Qualifications required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• ACCA Completed or in progress

Skills and experience

• Case ware knowledge
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills in both Greek and English language
• Dynamic with high levels of commitment and ability to take initiative
• Professional conduct
• Good IT skills
