We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel. This role will support the Financial Controller in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Undertake daily bank reconciliations

· Input sales and supplier invoices into Quickbooks

· Prepare cash flow forecasts

· Assist in preparing weekly and monthly management accounts

· Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns

· Assist in implementing accounting policies and internal controls

· Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis for management

· Support budgeting and forecasting processes

· Participate in preparation for the annual audit

Qualifications & Skills:

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting or financial management

· Solid knowledge of double entry bookkeeping

· Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables and financial modelling

· Strong working knowledge of accounting software (ideally Quickbooks)

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

· Professional qualification or progress towards one desirable
