Maintenance Engineer - Bottling Plant

Job Overview

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment in our bottling facility to ensure optimal production efficiency and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repairs and rebuilds of bottling line machinery including fillers, cappers, labelers, and conveyors
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete preventative maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical breakdowns in real-time during production runs
• Replace worn parts, rebuild pumps, and calibrate sensors and controls
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to diagnose issues
• Install and align new equipment according to manufacturer specifications
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery components to prevent failures

Requirements

• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food/beverage manufacturing
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Education & Experience

• Technical degree or certification in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years in a similar maintenance role
• Experience with bottling line equipment preferred
