We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to lead our kitchen team at Healthy Meals, a well-established concept currently thriving in Nicosia. As we expand into Limassol, we are excited to announce that Healthy Meals will be partnering with the Por Favor team. We seek an ideal candidate with a strong culinary background, exceptional leadership skills, and a creative vision to elevate our menu. Join us in our mission to provide nutritious and delicious meals as we grow our presence in this vibrant new location.
Responsibilities:

Oversee all kitchen operations and food preparation.

Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.

Manage kitchen staff, including training, and scheduling.

Control food costs and inventory management.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with management on culinary strategies and special events.

Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and cuisine developments to continuously improve the menu and kitchen procedures.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring prices and ensuring consistent product quality to meet operational standards while staying within budget constraints.

Effectively manage and organize food storage, ensuring proper inventory rotation (FIFO), optimal storage conditions, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards to minimize spoilage and waste.

Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality, inspiring and guiding team members to achieve their best performance.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Chef or in a similar role.

Culinary degree or equivalent experience.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Creativity in menu planning and food presentation.

Knowledge of cost control and kitchen management.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours:
Monday to Saturday, from 07:00 AM to 15:30 PM.
